good news and bad news.
good news is the replacement rack works like a charm and no more leaks!

the bad news is the cheap angle kit just is not going to work. you get close to full lock and the steering just lays over and sits at full lock so you have to force it back which can cause issues when transitioning while drifting. and when it hits full lock it looks like its trying to rip the balljoints out of the lower control arms. so i took the angle block off and i ordered e90 inner tie rods so that i can still run the e46 lower control arms for extra track width. if it still feels like **** after that i am going to just go back to stock lower control arms and save up for a proper angle kit from SLR. i also got to test drive it down the street and when i turn left there is a metal on metal sound coming from the RR wheel which is the wheel i replaced the wheel bearing on. i am going to tear into that tomorrow to see what is causing that as everything feels tight and its only when you transfer the weight onto it.
i also got the dash trimmed and installed so i will have pictures of that tomorrow. along with hopefully picking up a 3.91 open diff tomorrow.
30 days left until the first event! i am starting to feel the pressure
