Too bad you aren't like Kim Jong Un and never poop. Then you wouldn't even have to worry about this problem!
Welcome back to the hero of the common man, our saviour from the stress of the daily rat race.
Got any pics of your divorced mom?

I feel much the same way about this as I do about most of these trendy "Tiny Homes."
A good used RV is cheap and does this job better than any homebuilt thing (especially a crappily home built thing.)
The idea that somehow you are sneakily using this on a city street is just fantasy. People notice you living in your car whether it's a Previa, or a broverlanding Land Cruiser.
Meanwhile, you can park overnight in an RV in any Walmart parking lot, legally.
Never read such wiser words here... who needs a house or a ferrari when cousin attraction alone and there after copulation will accomplish my evolutionary goals.
A minimum wage worker will one day be able to afford my version.
4 min mark for tent setup.
Here's Why the Ugly Pontiac Aztek Is Becoming Cool (Doug DeMuro)
Phase two is lifting the cage out and to button snapping on a tent cover (which also divides and seals the rear end from the front)
3rd move is to insert an elaborate metallic pooping box (dividing slots for liquids and solids) into the floor which would align with the funnel and bag mount below.
4th, insert small garbage bag into the setup, using the bidet inbetween finish your business while the fan is on, then use large pre-loaded zip ties on the foldout mount to seal the bag.
Finally bidet rinse and remove the metal pooping box and fold the mount (with the poop bag) back under the car... resting into the removed spare tire location.
Westcoast van dweller Dave recently made a video about pooing into a bag.
Second I can imagine discharging one of those to be rather disgusting.
Park a large vechile in front of someones house and they have the legal right to have to towed or ticketed. These are the bylaws\ordinates in large urban areas, welcome to the new world order.

You present this as a "mid engine van" as though there is something special about engine placement. This isn't a sports car that you are trying to turn into a tiny house, so the polar moment of inertia that comes with mid engine isn't something that is of value here. For a shoebox you are trying to live in, seems the engine in the middle is actually in your way.
But on the parking front, there's plenty of large west coast cities where boondocking even in nicer neighborhoods goes completely unenforced, if there are even laws on the books to prevent it (which typically isn't the case).
Which brings us back to.... Just get an RV
