Is there even a Rabbit badge on it?

Was thinking about getting a blue one until I realized they don't come with a sunroof.

I love that it has no sunroof. Not that I'll have $30k laying around to buy one, but if I did then a blue one would be exactly what I like. Cloth seats, performance pack, and no stupid hole in the roof.

Yup, pretty much my ideal spec as I never use the sunroof. Big brakes, good lights, manual trans, fun color, and plaid seats. Yes please!

I like most of the specs except the Rabbit name, it's a Golf.

No sunroof is a deal breaker

Add me to that list - this is spec'ed perfectly for me. Everything I did to modify my last GTI, this already comes with. I guess I'd go for the blue or white. My e-Golf is Urano grey, so wouldn't want another of those. Too bad there's no Mars or Flash red, but oh well.

What are you talking about? I'm having trouble figuring out which model is which.

$28,895 with the manual. Certainly not cheap, but the GTI has always been a premium car. It's not really out of line though. My nearby VW dealer has just 1 GTI on the lot...

I thought it would be too. Turns out it's not. For the R somehow I feel like it just suits the character of the car not to have it.

Some Canadian dealers got a few this week, so I’m guessing soon.

I came across a walk around video of this at the L.A. auto show yesterday. I kind of like it but really don't see many differences from a regular Gti. Still better than the horrid mk5 "Rabbit".
