Saw a Urano Grey one at my local dealer yesterday. I'd be torn between Cornflower and Urano. Both look awesome.

I love the cornflower but there's something about the red highlights that just clashes aesthetically with the blue for me. Honestly though, I'd take this in any color.

I like the red on blue, looks fantastic.

The Fahrenheit edition clashed... orange and red

I still don't understand why you can't get the best VW, the GTI, in the best VW color, Habanero Orange.

If my '17 Sport DSG got totaled tomorrow (knocks wood), I'd probably be at the dealer this weekend picking out a Rabbit Edition. Basically the same exact package as the Sport, but with the "7.5" updates and better color options. I'd probably go for Cornflower, as well.

Except they inexplicably neutered the infotainment system and put the crappy base system from the S into the Rabbit... while Canada gets the "normal" 8" display, SiriusXM, and even Fender.

I see a lot of these listed from $23.5k to $24.5k in my area. What kinda rebates are they factoring in to those prices? I imagine that not everyone would qualify for all of them.

Sport has the crappy base sound system/infotainment too, so aside from CarPlay there's not much to write home about. Mine does have SiriusXM, though. Weird that they would spec those items in Canada and not here.

I had a MK4 Jetta with a sunroof. The rear seat foot wells would fill up with about an inch of water every time it rained.

In Canada, they are also 36K with very limited deals available.

Was it a used car? Did it have any glass replaced, windshield etc? Did you try cleaning out the drain hoses?

It was a used car, but this was back in 2007 or 2008, so it wasn't exactly old. No replacement glass as far as I'm aware. I'm pretty sure the sunroof drains were just clogged, but I don't remember if the issue was ever addressed before it got traded in. Sometimes when you buy a car you luck out and get a really good one, and sometime you just get a bad one. That car was one of the bad ones.

Or about $27k USD, with more content. Far better deal in Canada.

My local dealer said they are only offering $1k off MSRP.

No offense but if the sunroof drains were clogged that isn't exactly the cars fault. If it was used who knows where it was parked before you bought it. My last home was surrounded by white pine and we only had one garage. Pine needles and other debris were a constant battle for the cars that had to stay outside.

The reason I brought it up was because we got a recall notice from Volkswagen about the sunroofs clogging up especially easily.
