Leaked info that quickly got taken down by FCA shows what they will be calling the Gladiator.

Looks like a blast with the soft top.
      Thoughts?

Looks exactly like you would think it would.

Also in before Ryukien comes in and shuts everything down saying its not accurate

Thats bad ass, and something i'd possibly consider trading my F150 for.

....if it's not priced at F150 prices.

The rear fender flare arrangement looks kinda awkward. But it looks like there's no way around it apart from extending the bed length.

So is there going to be a porn version? Glad-He-Ate-Her???

Same with the rear door cutline. It's just a carryover part. It looks good though. It's definitely unique in the market. The more I see the new Wranglers around, the more I'm liking them. They really did a good job with it, and I think this version is no exception from the looks department.

I'm assuming for the hardtop, the front section is the same Freedom panel found in the 2 and Unlimited models. And a mounting rack in the bed is available. I hope the unpainted hardtop and fender flares are the standard set up as in the 2 door and Unlimited models.

Will this be coming out before or after the new-for-2016 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

I wonder what the set up for the spare tire is. Or is there a spare in the first place. The only logical place would be under the bed, behind the rear axle. But would that affect the departure angle? Especially if it has the Rubicon's 33" tires.

I don't really think that's a big concern here. If you're worried about approach/breakover/departure you're buying a jl/jlu. This will be capable for what it is though

Yes, if only they had extended the bed forward and reduced the cab to an extended cab at the most.

Weird, extending both makes one longer and the other shorter.

I really like it, and I wonder how useful the bed is vs my Silverado. Since I was tempted to get a left over JKU, but I really need a truck to haul junk around alot more then I would need 4x4 for going fishing.

That goes against all my instincts as a actor...

Seems a horrible choice to call it a Gladiator.

Because this is the Gladiator they should have built:

What they're proposing now is more like a Scrambler.

But then hey, they've already completely ruined the Rebel nameplate anyway.

But..but..but ...the Honda truck is the best thing since sliced bread.....

I have a short box s-crew F150 with a tool box so for me bed space isn't a huge concern. Bed or roof mounted racks can accommodate my bikes and surfboards, as i've done in the past. I'd love to have a Wrangler and this pretty much checks most the boxes. I've owned a Tacoma before my Ford and can live with the smaller cab, although the rear passenger space will be the biggest compromise. But it would fill my want for a Wrangler.

I’m sure Chad will be able to fit a Yeti cooler in there just fine.
