I'm sure the T shirts they had made up will be a collector's item. Makes a Pho Keene Great gift

Their slogan should be: "You damn right our food is PHO KEENE GREAT!!!"

There used to be one in a strip mall by where my sister used to live. They tore down the mall and rebuilt it back in 2012 - didn't reopen. https://www.yelp.com/biz/pho-king-alexandria

I chuckled every time I drove by.

Ground rules. It's okay if it's a semi-obscure visualization of new style kitchen/bathroom fuzion eatery.

      Seems relevant

This place was a Vancouver staple for a long time, but it burned down maybe eight years ago and never reopened.

The lack of originality is the most offensive part of this. That whole gimmick has been done to death.

I don't have a photo, because this occurred pre-document everything, but there used to be an historic building in my hometown called The Dickenman Building.

The original sign was always on the facade, but newer places tended to just slap their signs on top of that original one.

At one point the sign was in various states of disrepair and a couple of the tenants had left, but left the signs up.

From left to right the businesses were

New Dragon Take out | Tootsies Ice Cream | Dickenman Building | Bella Pizza

Once they had all left and the building started to look crappy, the facade literally read:

Take Out Tootsies Dickenma Bella Pizza.

      I miss that sign.

There was a food truck running around here called "Pho Cupped" and a burger place that opened up a mile away called "Balls Out Burgers". I refused to go to either of them on principle.

There used to be a head shop in Culver City named Kayla's.

The tag line on their awning was "See Kayla for the best head in town".

Now I want fish and chips. I have been going there for as long as I can remember, since my early childhood days. They always give you an extra piece of fish.

Guess what the name of the liquor store in Beaver Creek, Colorado is? Technically its Avon, but its at the bottom of Beaver Creek.

I didn't find it offensive until the City pointed out why. Says more about the City Manager than the business?

Does the place offer liquor in the front and poker in the rear?
