I too, have a small refrigerant leak.

I'm fairly certain I know where it's leaking, but at the moment it doesn't bother me too much. I pulled the car into buddy's shop, he plugged in his large computerized HVAC machine. It sucked everything out, measured, and then put in the correct amount. Did that in April and it's still blowing ice cold, so for now.... Meeehhhhh.

Once it becomes more frustrating I'll have it properly fixed. Probably just a leaky $0.02 o-ring.

Been busy lately with chasing water leaks and renovating the garage but just picked up a 35mm film camera for fun. I'm a pretty patient guy so taking my time with composing and getting the settings right isn't an issue, but there's still a learning curve. Also need to stop looking down at the camera immediately after every shot.

The size difference is...how you say...substantial, but it's nice having a light camera/lens. For anyone wondering, it's a Nikon FM2N (built sometime between 1989 and 2001) that I bought from eBay, then picked up a 50mm f/1.2 from Craigslist, and used Kodak Portra 400 film

Anyway, here are some shots of the car and its surroundings. Everything's manually focused so shots are a lot more challenging, especially at night.

And one with the big brother.

Nice shots! I have a similar Nikon that I haven't dusted off in many, many years... Where are you getting the development done? I haven't shot any film in at least a decade, but it sounds kind of appealing after shooting at 10fps for the past year

Thanks! Had them developed at a local store for $15 with a 3-day lead time to get a download link.

But I'll probably start using thedarkroom.com

Is that a 200mm lens, or are you just happy to be here?

Seriously, I like the old school film stuff. Just winding the film is fun. And it’s always a surprise when you finally see the outcome!

Let's just say I haven't been hanging out in a pool lately.

Heads up: I'll likely be in NorCal for work for at least a week in January or February. Chances are I'll have new wheels and tires by then.

I smell a NorCal meet up. Get ready to use those new tires.

      Wellll...yeah but no time today.

In fact, I'm still fixing the M5. I'll update the thread once it's sold but there's been some drama with it, which is so fitting given my history with the car.

      All's well that ends well.

I'm going with Leggera. That's what I'd want on my car if I wanted to bend wheels... err... look hot.
