Going to start without them. I can add after the fact since they will just be 3M stuck on the surface.

2 tone wrap scheduled for this Friday.

One of my best friends currently has the car and is doing some work. Dropped by to get some progress and underside photos. He was one of the founders of Japanese Classics and has seen/built tons of cars. He said the more he gets into the car, the more impressed he is with the quality of everything.

First of all there is zero rust anywhere. No frame damage from improper jacking and almost all hardware is cad plated including the full parking brake mech which usually rusts out. The trans crossember is custom made and extremely nice. Thin wall dimpled steel. The rear camber/toe adjustment pieces mounted to the trailing arms are fantastic! Trying to figure out what trans is in it since the shifter and crossmember show that it must not be original. Or the engine has been moved.

He welded the WG pipe to the exhaust which I very much look forward to hearing since I hated the open dump. Next is the diff fluid change. It's a Nismo but not sure if adjustable pro or not. It's a bit noisy so he is trying the correct Nismo fluid with triction modifier additive. If it cannot be quieted down, I will have to swap that out for something else as I just cannot take the noise on the street. It is a phenominal diff though and something I have never experienced before. Seems to be a 2 way. I have a spare 1.5 way and someone has offered to swap me there VLSD for the Nismo if I was at all interested. I just don't plan on beating the hell out of the car so I don't need anything too aggressive.

The coil pack conversion is very interesting and what I am getting the most questions on. R30 guys have messaged me asking about it. The builder welded bungs to the OE cover to fit whatever coils they are and I believe the car is running an SR20 ECU as the Apex Power FC is for the SR. Anxious to uncover more about the car and I look forward to driving it again with the changes.

Trying to figure out if the front calipers are stock too. They are stamped with K67 it looks like and since the rears are Z32 or R32, I imagine the fronts are likely upgraded too but definitely not Z32/R32.

Next, we will be working on the rear fender openings a little to give more clearance as it currently makes contact with the body on really major highway dips etc.

I was unsure about this until I pulled it outside. For some reason the floor of my garage was making it look too blue and I was nervous. But I absolutely love the look and think the gold graphics will just set it the F off.

Agreed! What size were you thinking of going with? I'm debating between 15" abd 16" but pretty set on 8.5" wide. But both 15 and 16s loook good but some angles one looks better, other angles the otherhaha.

Awesome car. Should get someone to customize the Hot Wheels version to match your car.

Either 16x8.5/16x9.5 or 16x8.5/17x9.5 because it currently has Barramundi Raycod's in 16x8.5/17x10.

      Great updates!
If you have a 5 cylinder, you don't need a stereo.
