I have no idea. I'll see him this weekend so I'll ask him.

His Cabriolet is awesome. I was checking it out at Radwood in SoCal last year. I like his Scirocco more, but he says the Cabby is more fun to drive.

Im fairly sure he is on here, but Ive known him for about 15 years now, and he is one of the nicest, and most entertaining individual I have ever met. We went to the same school, and I met him by putting a note on the windshield of his E30 wagon which was never sold in the US with a message like, "so how did you get this illegal thing in here??? I'm the guy with the lowered red jetta VR6 you see around"... been friends ever since.

I can corroborate. You have a conversation with him about the cabby, you start looking for 16v powered Vw’s.
I was hoping he was going to bring a VW this weekend (Coastal Range Rally Rewind with Driving While Awesome), but apparantly the weather is going to be nice, so he isn’t taking the convertible. He doesn’t like driving his other cars in the rain. Something about rust or something.

Jason is doing his part to raise MK1 values. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not for me though.

I haven't met him personally, but from what I've read and heard from others, he's a fantastic guy.

Also, he really likes that Cabby.

What he's bringing left quite the puddle at Radwood.

It left this puddle, in fact:

That being said, he told me he is bringing a different car. Also said it was top secret.

I met him at Waterfest way back in 2000. I traveled back with some of the west coast Scirocco gang. I think Jason was still in college at the time in the NY area (?). HARDCORE Scirocco guy, then and now. And yeah, incredibly nice dude.

Cammisa's cool. Sent him a pic of a cutout 2.3-16 engine on IG from the local transportation museum here, and he was happy and thankful. Lieberman, on the other hand, got all aggressively defensive when I needed to correct him on some car knowledge.

He posts some really cool videos of his Scirocco and his Cabby on Instagram. I'd really like to meet him one day.

I like the story of him loosing a new 911 touring after the first corner. The same thing happened to me driving my VR6T Corrado and following my Dad in his stock 914. My Dad said he wasnt even pushing, mean while I had to push pretty hard to keep him in sight.

Could have sworn I saw his posts in the early 2000s scirocco forum and also the .org mailing list when I was lurking those groups

Really enjoyed the video and that's scary that the stock scirocco 16v suspension on the cabby can get up on two wheels with just zII star specs, I always heard of rumors of mk1s flipping over on hoosiers, but on modern 200tw autocross tires yikes.

I know Cammissa through, of all things, work. He was one of the BoDs on my old company. The CEO came in and saw I was reading one of Cammissa's articles on my lunch hour and he's like "oh, you know Jason? Yeah, he's on the Board here."

      What are the odds.

Good guy. Would love to sit down and have a beer with him sometime.

I guess I'm in the minority in that he just rubs me the wrong way. He is very knowledgeable about cars, I just don't care for him. I appreciate Jonny more as an entertainer.
