Just purchased a mint condition MK6 GLI 30 Year Edition with 56k on the clock. One owner, 3 pages of gorgeous Carfax maintenance records.

Love the car but it's my first DSG. Last VW/Audi I had was a B5 A4, Stage 3 KO4. I plan on going Stage 2 APR with the GLI.
Question about the DSG. I've noticed that after the first start every day, it can buck/clunk when I put it in to drive, followed by a decent delay (2seconds) before lurching forward when I pull out of my neighborhood. All shifts after that initial P > D and second stop, all is fine. No rough shifts, nothing.
After that, the rest of the day, even after it cools down, it's smooth sailing.
My question is, is this typical for Cold Starts on DSG transmissions?
I've had the car serviced, has a great service record at my local dealership. Mechatronics unit looked great says the dealer.
Only having 4k left on the power train, I want to make sure everything is peachy.
