Jelly....6 mt M3 has been a car on my list for a while. It’s a bit above what I should drive for a DD, but really want to. Congrats. 6mt with cloth...mmmm.

      X....

Nice! I generally prefer leather, but I really like the fabric texture on those seats. Are they heated?

Also, I'm curious, did you drive the DCT?

don't want to speak for OP, but in my opinion these turbo 6s from BMW are so well suited to a manual. you can row the gears all you want, but it's got the torque to just lump along in any gear if you don't want to. I feel like the E9X M3s with their high strung V8s really needed the ability to just be in the optimal gear "right now" which took away from their perceived potency around town.

Congrats! Question: Is the leather on the bolsters actual leather or vinyl?

I've been following on IG. Congrats! Looks like an awesome ride, and is a nice compromise of both the 997 and the 328. Seems like the obvious choice, and nice work on getting it an actual color.

I had no idea you could get an M3 in yellow until now. Suites the car perfectly! Its always been my dream to own a yellow car since the MKIII GTI VR6 DE. Most excellent pickup!

Too bad our dollar sucks in Canada and I would buy one in the States slightly used.

It's a really nice manual gearbox in the F80 too. Just the right amount of notchy, accompanied by a well-weighted clutch.

A thousand bucks a month for a lease 36mo/36000 miles is not that bad on a 70K vehicle.

With self driving technology coming, it would be hard to have manual and self driving tech in the same car. Unless you want to fight against the car (like the 737 lols).

Haha! Yeah, the 328d was plenty sporty for me, but I really wanted to experience a manual M car before they all go away.

Me too. My Audi 4000 and Suburban were both Velour, which was nice, but I prefer leather. As a sporty daily, cloth seemed like a good fit. And yes, the seats are still heated.

I drove a coworker's DCT version and enjoyed it, but I really wanted to experience a manual M car.

Exactly! I set M1 for eco/comfort/comfort, and it's plenty of power for in-town cruising.

I think it's leather, but I'll have to look into it. There's stitching on it, but who knows.

It's an oddball throwback E46 color, and I;m loving it more and more.

      Look around!

The CS is leasing for $799/month on an MSRP of $103,000 with $2500 DaS and MSD.

$4500 in incentives + $500 rebate from CCA is also available.

April is the last month for 18 leases, so dealers are looking to get stock moving.

When I started looking a few months ago, there were at least 40 manual F80s. Now there's maybe 15 in the spec I wanted.

Noice! So it was a leftover new 2018? When the G20 M3 comes out, it may be the last manual M3. As enormous a splurge as it would be for me, it might be my next car.

And cloth seats?! I'm not hatin', but I remember when Car and Driver put in the "lows" category of the E46 M3, "$50K and cloth seats?" I didn't know you could still get the F30 M3 that way.
