I had one in the form of a 1994 Sentra SE-R, it was a great car besides when it came to rust and reliability. It was somewhere around average or not exactly bullet proof when it came to reliability.

I know, Tsuru is pure driving pleasure, back before pesky stuff like crash safety. Nothing more fun than knowing a 30MPH fender bender could kill you

      Just a reminder.
This is more a function of modern crash safety that the model or brand.
By modern standards this big 90s Volvo wagon is a deathtrap.

Yea my point about safety was pointed generally to age. But as far as the B13 specifically... if you're gonna risk your life to drive something old, get something special.

According to NIssanNews.com (NIssan Press/Media website) so far this year:

      Versa Sales:24.992
      Sentra Sales:56,793
      Altima Sales:51,480

No way, NO WAY Nissan is dropping the Sentra. The Sentra is currently Nissan's best seller. Kinda shocked me a little bit, cause the current Sentra is probably the worst car in the class.

Look for a new Sentra to debut very soon...there is a thread in here about it somewhere. It will finally get some much need styling and design upgrades as well.

Of those three cars, if anyone of them had to die it would have been the Versa. Sentra, for better or worse, has much better name recognition and longevity compared to Versa..and the Sentra's class of cars has higher profit margins and is larger overall. Car markets are shrinking but the Versa's market is dropping faster. I think Nissan is smart to stay in the class though cause with this new one market share will definitely grow as other car makers walk away from the segment.

Nissan needs to wean off the fleet sales, but unfortunately they've spent the last 20 years training us to perceive their cars that way. Same problems the domestics have to a large degree

No doubt..and probably 50 percent or more of those sales are fleets. I was driving to Florida yesterday and I saw a TON of new Altimas on the road...I wondered how many might be rentals.

No...not even close. Pushing 20% max.

And even then... a sale is a sale.
Any data on profit per sale (gives an idea on sales/fleets/discounts)?
That can be very difficult to find.
