So I finally have a nicely-sized garage and some time on the weekends -- I'd like to do a thorough detail on my wife's car so the clear coat doesn't fail like it already is on the roof of my Yaris (Texas sun will fry it quickly with neglect).
Years ago, when I cared more, I used Zymol and Meguiar's cleaner wax. I don't really care about a super wet, concours-quality finish -- I mean, it's a white Corolla -- but having the paint protected is most important, followed by easy application and removal.
I saw this at AutoZone this morning when I was getting an oil filter -- seems to have good reviews on Amazon. Any other suggestions?
