      So I ordered the wheel for my car and it actually works! Actually pretty excited. Just need to find my pry tool lol to swap out the buttons..

      Order it off of eBay for about $220 without airbag

      Sweet! But what do you mean about the buttons? Are they not the same on both steering wheels?

      Get the eff out of here... the paddle shifters actually let you change gear on our mk7s?? Looks like I'll be keeping an eye out for a paddle shift steering wheel...

      I wonder if the year has anything to do with the button config. I found 2 on Ebay per the link you sent. Downside is shipping time being that they would be coming from Europe. How hard was the install?

      I order 4/28/19 and got it delivered 5/16/19 so less than a month. It has to do with year and options available on the car. Install was a breeze. Remove the airbag, have a triple square handy to remove the steering wheel, and carefully remove old, line up the marks on the new wheel to the hub, and install reverse previous instructions.

      Is yours a base model s? And thanks for the info... paddle shifters would be much better than moving the shifter up and down...
