Nice build, but a lot of it is overwrought for my taste.

This is like wearing a Monster Energy hat backwards/sideways with a Tuxedo with tails, Rolex, and neon DC skate shoes.

It's pretty cool, even if the wheels mean a slight improvement in performance I still would have kept them more original looking. The AMG engine and disc brakes is a nice touch though. I wouldn't want to be stuck with the drum brakes the original 300SL had.

I almost had heart failure when I first saw it, thinking he’d done that to a real gullwing, but making a Fiberglas shell was a nice move. The wheels, though...yeesh...

I like the build overall, I would change the wheels (rims) and get rid of the car audio component in that fake suitcase at rear window.

I can drive this like a regular expensive car. I will be in constant worry driving a $3,000,000USD real 300SL Gullwing at anywhere.

Poor taste, wheels too modern for the era. Still cool though.

I would find the money if someone offered me a good 300SL kit car to build up.

One of the nicest kit cars Ive seen... wonder if Mercedes stole the original design not to be going after replica design patents... or maybe replicas are insurable in some parts of Europe.
