One morning both wipers and washer stopped working.
      Fuse is fine.
      Hood is closed.,
Can anyone help me troubleshoot what to do next. I do not have a vag-com, and can't find anyone nearby with one.
THe replacement items I can think of are: wiper motor, wiper switch, wiper relay (99), hood latch switch.
How do I find out which f these to replace first?
Please help me with this frustrating problem.

      Johnny

Not definitive but if both those are not working it might suggest that your wiper stalk has malfunctioned or that the wiring to the stalk might be bad for some reason.

Also remember that wiper / washer function has a relay too. In position 8 of the relay panel there should be a 99 relay or a 196 or some such relay. Locate a spare and see if they work when the replacement is installed.

Did you poison the coffee? Not any more than I usually do.
