I wish to go catless with my 2007 Rabbit, but I don't really have the money in the budget to buy a new downpipe. I was thinking of knocking the cat out, but then the car would have the check engine because of the sensor. What is a way to bypass the sensor or just make it so that the CEL isn't on. Any info on this topic would be helpful

      Thanks!

I was considering something like this too as a downpipe is around $200 . Were you just going to knock out the cat contents with a broomstick? You need a sensor spacer like this if you get a CEL.

This one is $190 and includes the spacers for the sensors.
