Thread: 2008 EOS Lux Amplifier Issue

      HEy folks,
Need to benefit from your experience. We have a 2008 VW EOS Lux and the amplifier keeps blowing fuses. The moment a fuse goes in, it blows. I unplugged the amp, and no blown fuse. I think the amp just needs to be replaced. I am looking for an amplifier bypass or wiring kit for an aftermarket amp.
Does this exist? Open to any ideas, links, or suggestions!
      Thanks!
      Aaron

What you are looking for does not exist. There are a bunch of canbus issues to deal with when the amp can't talk to other parts like head unit. You might be able to use the wiring but might as well just run your own putting in an amp. Basically you can replace the amp with the same orwire your own fully passive setup. Reason being current amp is not just 1 amp it's like a separate amp for each channel.
