If the guys over at Acurazine are telling the truth, Acura finally has their design mojo back. It looks like the MDX (and maybe the TLX) are getting some upscale seats with power adjustable headrests and upper seat tilting like on the G90/S-Class/E-Class/etc. It certainly looks real and mirrors quite a few screens and graphics in the RDX.

      "Got their design mojo back."

      Where and when?

These look like the same vehicles but with larger fake air intakes on the front bumpers.

Acura design peaked with the original TL and MDX.
The second generation Legend (coupe and sedan) were hot, too.

Not that I disagree that peak Acura was the Legend, but these are way better than the beak era and look sleaker and more taut than the existing models.

I think both, but especially the TLX look great in those renderings. maybe it's just the lighting but the surfacing looks way better, as does the overall shape. I think it's the best looking sedan Acura's made since the 3rd gen TL

Acura needs to show some Integrity and Vigor in their designs to again become Legendary...and lay off the alphabet soup.

As the resident TLX guy, I approve, especially of the interior. My infotainment is an absolute joke, thank God for Android Auto.

It really just needs to be an Accord with SH-AWD.

Oh yeah. Test drive an MKZ, that's some great leather in this dogfight.

MDX has always been a minivan with hinged doors so w/e.

But I think the TLX is a step backwards. I was hoping they'd retain the Accord's nice profile and improve the details. Maybe go full fastback with a liftgate. Hopefully the real thing looks better than the renderings. Definitely interested in seeing the next ILX and the engine/transmission choices too

Couldn’t get past that name. It seemed to be targeting a clientele with the promise similar to a certain little blue pill.

Funny- the car has the long straight hood like the Mazda CX-9 and Volvo XC90...but definitely does not have the short overhangs of the former. Makes it look a bit funny but overall an improvement.

Easy old man. High quality and sustainable leather alternatives are a good choice these days

The real leather in most Japanese cars under $80k is usually pretty crappy anyway.

If you ignore the resources required to raise cattle, isn't leather the definition of sustainable? My understanding was that most pleather was polyurethanes (and thus pretty toxic).

I guess the methane in cow farts is pretty bad for the environment.

A good rare steak is the hill i'll die on though.
