I’m glad you’re okay. I’ve seen a couple of relatively mild wrecks involving full dressers. Both of them were hit by drivers changing lanes without looking, both bikes launched themselves into high siding after sliding for a bit when the front wheel csughtbsomethung on the road. It sounds like that’s likely what happened to you.

Also - can we put Enzo Dude in there? That’s a lotta people standing around holding onto a bike that won’t move.

      Glad you're okay man.

Also, I hope you keep using that wallet. Everytime you pull it out "oh yeah I almost died that one time".

Is this similar to having two phones? One for your wife one for your girlfriend?

Only natural that you'd want to keep the money separate, too.

This is what is normally referred to as a "low-side" crash ...

... and this is a "high-side" crash in almost the same spot.

Note that in the low-side situation, the wheels lose traction and the rider basically just falls to the ground "on the low side", while in the high-side situation, the rear wheel loses traction and starts sliding but then regains grip, thus tossing the rider "over the high side". In my years of roadracing, I've lost count of the number of low-sides, and I've had one high-side, which resulted in me landing on my head; this was about 26 or 27 years ago ...

In the situation under discussion in this thread, evidently the crash started due to contact with another vehicle, but it can lead to a similar situation if the bike first starts sliding one way then the tires grip and flip it over. Cruisers with (what I would call) poor cornering clearance can have a situation where they get pushed over but don't actually fall far enough to go onto their sides and come off their tires (because they are leaning on the running boards or other hard parts coming into contact with the ground), and if those tires still in contact with the ground get some grip, they can flip the bike over to the other side.
