      3. 2020 doesn't seem to have built-in Navigation and I believe 2019 does?
      4. DCC - Adaptive Dampers... I thought this was unique to 2020 but I have seen 2019 GLI Autobahn's with selectable drive modes...is this different?

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Given all this I am leaning toward the 2019 but don't want to miss something.
The only 2019 to have DCC was the 35th edition. The drive modes in the other trims dont effect the suspension.

Correct, no wireless CarPlay for the near future. You cam always add the charging pad later.

2020 Autobahn should have navigation as that takes full advantage of the digital cockpit.

For 2019, DCC was only available for the 35ED GLI. The S and Autobahn all have 4 driving modes: Eco, Normal and Sport and Custom. The DCC adds a comfort mode which softens the suspension, steering and differential engagement.

I love the DCC in my 35ED.

Test drove one at a nearby dealer this weekend and there was no navigation in the 2020 GLI Autobahn...and the sales rep confirmed that it was no longer included. It didn't make a lot of sense but it definitely wasn't there.

Thank you for the clarification on the drive modes in the 2019!

Well that's stupid. They're basically neutering the virtual cockpit because I don't believe Google or Waze can display in the gauge cluster.

I guess it depends what you want, DCC and wireless charging or Navigation and a 72k warranty.

...of course maybe it is possible the rep didn't know what he was talking about and the disc just wasn't installed or it wasn't setup?

Just for clarification, the 2019 GLI Autobahn did not have built-in navigation either, nor does navigation from the CarPlay/AndroidAuto show in the digital cockpit either. It's just a very nice instrument cluster, nothing more.

The US model 2019 Autobahn does not have navigation. Waze, etc. show up on the infotainment screen but not in the digital cockpit (gauge) screen.

I thought about waiting, but $24,850 out the door for a ‘19 AB with DSG was too good to pass up.... plus better warranty. Someone on her said most MQB cars have the plug for wireless charging so it can be added later... I’ve owned two cars with DCC (‘17 R and ‘19 Arteon) and kept it in sport setting almost all the time, I don’t miss it quite as much as I thought I would!

Did you trade your arteon for a GLI?

I have a 2020 R-Line. I guess something new for this model year is USB-C ports. I brought my USB cable with me when I bought my car and didn't realize until during delivery the cable wouldn't work. I went to the first Best Buy I could find and grabbed a cable so I could drive the two and a half hours home without getting lost.

Only on the 6.5" display. The 8" screens still have usb-a. VW sells dedicated usb-c cables in their accessory dept as well for 2020.

I didn't even think to check their parts department. For what it's worth, my Pixel 3 charged rapidly from the USB-C port.

They're braided with aluminum ends- I have the usb-a to usb-c and usb-a to lightning cables and really like them.

I wonder why VW wouldn't give the Jettas with an upgraded display the USB-C ports
Seems like something that should be universal

For what it's worth, I paid $21347 for my R-Line. Came with the auto-dimming rearview mirror, Monster Mats, and VW care. MSRP was $24310.

The addition of R line package and killer deal from the dealer sealed the sale.

Still amazed at how much value exists in these cars. Wife I an come from BMW and Volvo vehicles and while I loved these marks, the value and warranty for the 2019 VWs are amazing.

I wonder how common it will be to find one with this, would definitely go for it over the bland regular autobahn wheels/trim.
Finally got the chance to see the new "black package" on the 2020 GLI Autobahn. Soo these are the same wheels as the 35th but painted black??

My local dealer just got in their first 2020 R-Line with a 6spd manual. It's a Pure White w/o CWP and the price is about $1000+ what I paid for my 2019 R-Line w/AT and CWP.

Damn, I kind of wish I waited now. I hate the '19 GLI AB rims.
