Iím attempting to replace my spark plugs myself, but having issues removing the coil packs. Each rubber boot just keeps stretching without any release and Iím afraid to snap them. Iíve tried this with a cool and warm engine multiple times, but to no avail. I have also tried spraying a bit of WD-40 down to help de-seize the boot. No success. Iíve never had issues with other VWs Iíve owned in the past, but these rubber coil pack boots are a major pain. Any advice?

You need a tool to take them out.

Here's a couple of vendors who sell them, I prefer ShopDAP but they don't have any in stock right now.
