Needs someone's expertise - My driver side headlight stopped working due to a short in the headlight ( Internal Wiring Shorted ). Now my Driver side headlight is out, and when I hit my high beams, the driver side inner light works and the passanger side bucket opens, but the passenger side inner light ( Pass to pass ) light does not work.... :banghead:
I have replaced everything, from a new headlight, igniter, ballast and bulb and it still does not work. I am not an electrical guru, so I am asking for a little help, and I have searched many times and have not found a solution.
The only thing I have not replaced was the CECM - From what I read on another thread, there was something in the CECM that burned out causing a silimar problem with the headlights - My question is, I finally found the number on the unit - 3CO 937 049 AJ - If I buy another one, is it a Plug N Play, so is it something that I will need to program with a Vag COM ( Something that I do not have )?
I am also looking to see if anyone here is in the San Antonio / Austin Area who may have one that I can meet up with to have them program the CECM if needed...? I really need my driver side headlight to work, as I have been driving around for about a year with only 1 headlight and it is not fun.
