Thread: I Bought a Ridgeline ... and It's Pretty Nice

In true Honda fashion it probably drives smaller than it is.

The wheels on OPs ridgeline remind me of the 2007 acura MDX Wheels

Yesterday I added the extended door checkers to the rear doors of the Ridgeline:

You can see how much bigger the extended checkers are. They are the OEM parts from the front doors and they cost less than $11 each.

      The results:

      Before:

      After:

      Before:

      After:

While I was at it, I installed the trunk cargo dividers so stuff won't roll around. They just pull in and out. They make the trunk area pretty configurable.

Never thought about doing this. Will keep in mind if I get the 4Runner

Have you taken it on any dirt roads yet?

The $20 door checker hack is the best money I've spent on my RL. Nice color choice too! My 2018 RTL-E is identical to yours. Two years in and flawless.

I still want an SUV version of this (don't say a Pilot), a mid sized Suburban than actually has some storage space.

Why? A Pilot is literally the SUV version of this.

A Tahoe would smaller than the Suburban but bigger than a Pilot.

ridgeline has over a foot in length on the pilot, it would make for a nicer 3 row

Nice mod on the door checkers, and I'm impressed how inexpensive the genuine Honda parts are.

I think I've said this in other Ridgeline threads... As much as I used to be 100% 'MURRICA OR NOTHING for pickups, something like the Ridgeline is really what ~80% of full-size pickup buyers truly need for their actual use of the vehicle. Good road manners, bad weather and light offroad capability, moderate cargo hauling, light towing. I don't think I've heard from a Ridgeline owner who didn't love their vehicle.

Considered getting this 1st gen Ridgeline

Wifey shot me down. She called it ugly and an insult to real pickup trucks. Ouch.

I'm surprised people don't like the 2nd Gen Ridgeline looks. I always thought it's a nice looking truck, especially after the awkward looking first gen.

I have more motorcycles than you (with her permission) I'm in those tight pants

It's not my fault that one I found looks like a couple of marshmallows smashed together.

      And less tourists I hope.

Probably get a Silverado which isn't bad but used Ridgelines can be found for cheaper
