I have a 99 VW EVCamper.
Years ago I started using a ScanGauge to watch the transmission temps more closely.
Then I added a trans cooler.
Now that the trans cooler has it’s own radiator, and the two coolants loops don’t overlap via that old heat transfer box VW originally used-
Why are engine temps and transmission temps commonly so similar?
I thought the transmission temperature sensor was in the solenoid harness of the valve body. Miles from the engine’s temps.

Any thoughts?
