      1992 Dodge Dynasty.

We had to evacuate where I worked, and that didn't play out too well, as it was a 2-3 hour traffic jam. Well the Dodge's valve guides were on the worn side, so it burned some oil. That day, while waiting in traffic, it was enveloped in its own cloud of oil smoke.
That weekend, I went out and bought my first Ford Focus. (and about 2 weeks later was when all dealers were throwing discounts left and right)

Technically I had a 1998 Honda Civic EX 5MT, but in reality I was 250 miles away at college and the Civic was at home with my parents.

1998 Jetta GLS - 2.0 / 020 five speed. I'd just bought it that spring after starting my first 'real' job.

      1997 Wrangler 4.0.

2001 was a crazy year. I was starting my senior year in college when 9/11 happened. Met my future wife a few months before. Jeep got broken into while parked on campus. And for good measure, we had a tornado rip through our college a few weeks after 9/11, killing a few students and damaging dozens of students' cars. We also won the NCAA men's basketball championship that school year (which incidentally led to riots and damaged cars)

I was working at a Ford dealership and I drove a '92 LX 5.0. Like Vanilla Ice.

Not my pic but it looked exactly like this, with grey interior.

1992 Infiniti M30. It was my first car, and a hand me down from my dad.

In retrospect, it was not a good car for a new driver. Very prone to snap oversteer, especially in wet/snowy conditions. I spun it 3 times and got the back end out stepped 30*+ unintentionally countless times. Never done that on the street since I got rid of the car. I head that they actually developed a cult following as drift cars for a while

2001 Golf GL TDI 2 door manuel.

Back then the warranty was only 2 years or 40K kms. I sold it when it had just over 40K.

2002 KTM 125SX motocross race bike that I had just got. Because I didn't have my own vehicle just yet, I was about to turn 17.

I remember being in the cafeteria with friends hearing about what was going on. News travelled a little slower then compared to now. I remember walking across the foyer figuring this was how WW3 would start, all the hyperbolic things a typical teenage mind thinks.

Then sitting through the next class with our eyes glued to the TV on the cart for half the class. And then finally deciding to cut school the rest of the day with my girlfriend because it wasn't really productive and was all sort of overwhelming/confusing.
