Ok I know we shouldn’t be doing things like eating while driving but if you’re going to do it, there’s some good choices to make and some really bad ones. My worst food to eat while driving is the meatball marina sub from Subway. The foot long has about 1 meatball per inch and trying to eat with one hand seems to squish the meatballs in the opposite direction of the bread while biting. With about a 50+ % chance any of those 12 meatballs falling out, it’s pretty much a 99.9 % chance that at least one out of them will fall out, roll down your shirt, pants etc. Other than that any Taco Bell hard taco is also really bad. The soft ones work well. The Sausage McMuffin w/o egg is another great choice as is their $1 breakfast burrito.

Take out Poutine in Quebec is also really messy, not as bad as the meatball sub though.

What’s your worst food to eat while driving?

In Ontario Canada the fines and demerits for eating anything make all foods equal 😉

The worst food is anything that gives me the $h!t$
I want every vehicle I own to drive just like my Mazda Miata except have a bigger trunk, or have room for 4, or haul a ton of rocks in the bed. Is that asking too much?

Burger King whopper... sworn enemy of mine when driving. The fricken lettuce gets everywhere! And it’s always covered in mayo.... the other thing has to be muffins, specifically coffee cake muffins. The crumb cake top just breaks off getting everywhere as well.

Taco Bell bean burrito while using a sauce packet to apply a dollip of Fire Sauce to each bite. Tough one. Almost impossible in town if manual.

The most entertaining thread I’ve seen here so far. Made my day.

As a French Canadian from quebec I would say poutine is not that bad while driving (depends of amount/thickness of sauce and quality of cheese.

Meatballs subway and Bk whopper definitely top 5.

      Ice cream cone.... also.

What a thread! As a Celiac I do not have many fast options anyway, so my issue is usually the Kind nut bars that have pieces of chocolate in them... inevitably they, unnoticed by me, fall in between my legs and migrate under my butt, so they melt and leave a nasty stain on both the seat and my pants.

      Hot ramen noodles.

No eating in my car allowed. It is not good when sauce, liquids, bits of food get into and muck up the contacts in the electrical switches.

I'd say either crab legs or chicken wings.

Croissants especially the really good fresh flaky kind. As tasty as they are, these can make a serious mess while driving. One bite and my shirt, paints, seat and floor mats have croissant crumbs everywhere. I drive manual so my shift boot and center console will also get those crumbs.

I get excited every time I see one in my area and I look to see the driver and I'm always let down because it's always someone much older. I'm in my early 20's and I wish people in my generation appreciated wagons.

Everytime I go back home I remember how people in Europe get it. Showed my family/friends my pictures of my Alltrack and they were impressed, people here (America) crack jokes. Although older people here seem get the idea.

The crossover lust people over here have is just so mind boggling.

      Truth.
I will add pretty much any southern bbq type food. Beans, pulled pork sammich, slaw, crumb cake. Then there’s coffee which is sort of a food.
Sure you won’t ever spill it with that lid on... mm hmm

Pizza with a lot of toppings. All the toppings tend to make it soggy and floppy, and many toppings don't stay on the pizza when it flops over.

BK Whopper - I don't even try. Junior Whopper is the way to go, although you're eating an hour-old reheated patty since no one orders Whopper Juniors.

It was traditionally eaten by hand. Chopsticks are for showoffs.

I'd use my hands if I was driving a Toyota or some other Japanese car. Since I have German car made in Mexico, then showing off it is.
