      1986 mk2 gti

16v 2.0 with Techtonics Tuning Euro cams and adjustable cam gear

      Bilstein PS09 coilovers

      Corrado G60 front brakes.

Recaro front seats with Corrado back sears that are just sitting in the back and are not properly installed.

      Big doors, and big bumpers

Grill held in place by Zip ties

Windshield wipers turn on but do not turn off. So I pulled the fuse and only drive when the weather is nice.

      Parking brake doesn’t work.

      Radio doesn’t work.

      Front blinkers do not work.

I bought the car in 2015 with a broken timing belt and had the the head rebuilt at highlands east and everything put back together at Autosport Inports.

The guy I bought this car from bought it off of this forum and told me to search “my 86 gti” for more details apparently the guy who did most of the work detailed his build on this forum.

Please contact me for more information

      Is it this car?

Cool that it's still kicking around the PNW - hopefully the body work has held up over the years.
I remember following the build thread back in the day, ended up to be a pretty clean car considering where it started.

      Yes that is it!

It’s still in pretty good condition too!
