04 Mk4 Golf. I need that noise people. I'm looking for the most aggressive, loudest exhaust availible. Can I get some sound clips an links plz. Suggestions, anything but straight piping an NeuSpeed. Currently magna flow stands at the top, but looking for part numbers for specific ones. My rear set up will have two cut outs. My thoughts are y pipe with two actual mufflers and resonators, that should sound insane or just extending the tips to accommodate......
I need that howl in my life.

Find a local exhaust shop.. for about $250 to $350 a good shop can build you a really nice exhaust system.

My Jetta has 2.5 inch straight back from the cat going into a single magnaflow muffler... sounds heavenly... even my R32 friends are like your 2.8 howls... like a wookie in heat.

I've a straight piped VR6 Jetta as well. No resonator with a resonated tip. I get compliments on it a lot but I'm not feelin it..... I had a Neuspeed on it b4 I chopped it off cuz it sounded grea, but was too low for me. You got a part # for that magna? I'm contemplating two of em. I think that would sound nuts, hmmm or maybe two Neuspeeds

It's a 24v so I haven't seen a listing for headers yet. People on here say stock is the best flowing, but if I can find a bigger, louder one, I want it.
Not looking for performance, just sound and more of it.
My Jetta has a straight pipe with a resonated tip, excellent volume, I like it, but the NueSpeed exhaust I have sitting in storage sounds much better ,way more refined, its just not loud enough.....
That's why I'm thinking of two actual exhaust off a single y pipe. That would have to increase the howl. Another option, I might just wield straight off the tips of the NueSpeed and extend to the locations needed, but how would that sound would it increase or decrease in sound, or just sound like crap......
The other compilation of two exhaust is the tips themselves. I would need to run piping off the tips, dual to single back to dual again... it's expensive to be different.....

42DD makes custom exhaust; you’ll spend around $1,000+ with the downpipe & 3” option but it sounds really aggressive when you punch it. Love mine

I think for the past 25+ years the mainstay has been porting the stock manifold. As far as I know, performance wise, nothing else comes close. Most of the headers out there will cost HP not add. If your just going for looks the ready-fire-aim. If your going for power then grab a grinder and get to work. I can't comment as far as sound goes with headers. I agree with the folks here who say Magnaflo. I had a 2.5" cat back on my 12v and even Honda guys admired it.
