Thread: Front end shaking during acceleration

    1. 10-06-2019 09:24 PM #1
So I got my car checked and was told it was my lower control arms and ball joints. Replaced those and got my car aligned and it still shook. I then replaced my motor mounts, all 3 of them, and it still shakes when I accelerate. I took my car back in and it seemed like my cv joints were fine, no clunking when I turn or anything. If I don’t drive it for a little it gets better, but when I have to get up to speed quick, it seems to get a little worse as I drive. It shakes more when I’m at higher speeds and give it gas. Any ideas what it could be?

      wheel out of balance
      inner axle joints bad
      bad tie rod end
      bent front axle
any of the 4 wheel bearings

Tie rod ends are good, and wheels are balanced. I think my next thing to do is my cv joints? I don’t hear any clunking when I turn hard or anything, and there’s not much movement if I try to shake them but I think there’s a little bit of movement so I might try that.
