For snow/slush? Silver imo. Black will look way dirtier in a snowy/salty winter road.

Black show dirt much earlier year round. Unless we're talking about steelies, I would always choose silver for a winter wheel.

      gray, gunmetal, darker silver.

just as long as you stay away from machined face, you're doing better than 90% of the other OEM wheels today.

I chose black for my winter wheels. I think they look cool. I don't care about seeing salt on the wheels - that just adds to the rugged winter look. It's also a futile thing to care about in New England. Just my preference.

Steelies is usually black by default. But would like to get my steelies painted silver

Aluminum, silver is my choice. Don't black black alloys.

I Used to love black wheels and owned them on a couple previous cars. Now I like grey gunmetal or silver. I’d still go for black steel wheels without hubcaps in Winter though.

I found that old silver steel wheels with a bit of rust hides everything. Eurovans with steel wheels come in Silver and my 16 year old ones look perfect all year.

I did black rims for my snow tires last year. If I had to do it again I would do silver.

Just ordered these today. Considering how my silver 18" OEM wheels have turned dark grey after 4000km of brake dust, I figured dark grey was a good plan going forward.

Silver alloys or silver hubcaps with black steelies.
