      Sweet pick up!

Personally I would call it a wagon...similar to Alltrack/Allroad/Crosstrek, it's kind of a best of both worlds thing.

Thanks. It's funny... a few years back, I was interested in a Crosstrek. I dismissed it due to lack of cargo capacity. This has even less. It's a wonder how 325hp changes things.

      I took it off road:

Now that I've put some more miles on it, I've noticed a few things:

The VLSD in the G35 did a lot more than I thought. This could use one.
The headlights in the G35 were a little better.
The LED fog lights in this are ridiculously bright. Like, far too bright and likely make things worse.
The LED DRLs look cheap, so I'm probably going to unplug them.
Curt trailer hitches need to work on quality and consistency.

      Other than that, .

One of the few Infiniti products I love. Styling still looks fresh to this day, especially in that super light blue color.

Crazy to think the current Infiniti would shelve a product like this in 5min.

Heh, yeah. They sort of dropped the ball a few years back. I currently have a loaner QX60 (and will for another couple of weeks*), and while it's nice, it lacks the qualities that I find/found appealing in the brand. The huge cargo hold is growing one me though. Being able to leave a car seat installed and easily put a FS 29er in the back, with room to spare, sure is convenient. But it doesn't ride as smoothly or drive as well as the QX50.

*The dealer thinks the rear differential is the cause of the very slight noise it makes off-throttle. It's on backorder for a couple of weeks. And yes, I tired to get a VLSD instead of the open diff, but as expected, warranty only replaces like for like... and I'm not even sure it's interchangeable with the G37. At this point, I've had this 2020 QX60 for longer and driven it more than the QX50. It gets the same MPG.

1,000 mile update: it grew and turned blue.

Wait. No, this would be the "I put 1,000 miles on a loner because my car is perpetually sitting at the dealer waiting for parts" update.

      Never mind.

I have learned that Infiniti CPO warranty coverage and customer service is solid. Parts availability could use some work though.

Sucks that it's down for service. When my LEAF was in the shop for a month, Nissan paid for my months payment. You should see if they would do that for you.

I believe "taut, muscular shapes and flowing lines" is the preferred description.

I've been in contact with Infiniti consumer affairs, and they have indicated that once this gets resolved (if this gets resolved?), something along those lines is possible. Whatever the case, I'm really curious what is wrong with the thing. The current guess and part delay is the driveshaft and u-joint.
