Yes Mike, we know you don’t like SUVs or wagons. But you are in the minority.

And now you are talking to yourself.
And so be it. Sometimes the vocal minority is correct.

Edit: I could drive an Outback R but a this is twice the price for not much more than brand image.

Of course the vocal minority is sometimes correct. If the vocal minority happens to be a single man without a significant other or child or pets.

I don’t even know what this means, so I’m assuming this is meant to be some sort of an insult.

I have a pet that lives with me. Lets take this to PM if necessary.

Not intended as an insult. It was meant at a reasonable compromise.

      And thanks for the insult.

You have to really dress these up to make them look halfway premium.

I’ve driven a couple and personally like them... they also have an appearance package upgrade for the diesel models too which is a plus.

I think the side view reminds me of this:

Looks good when lowered, but seems frumpy compared to their cars.

Personally I think the Panamera Sport Turismo is the best 4-door vehicle Porsche makes.

Better get used to it though. Macan sold more units than 911, 718's, and Panamera combined. Macan and Cayenne make up 2/3 of sales now.

I've never been a fan of the exterior of the Macan, but I will say I liked the rear design of the pre-refresh better. Nonetheless, non-car folks seem to love it so perhaps I'm the a-hole.

i like it, as far as a CUV goes, but man would it be a winner in my books if it was Golf-sized as a Porsche-badged performance hot hatch with a manual + PDK option.

Any car which holds together for a whole race is too heavy.

Like a lot of cars, i think they look pretty good in higher trim levels. Interestingly, I have a co-worker who I directly interact with a handful of times per year and more times than not she brings up her lease spec macan as if it's an actual porsche sports car. She loves "casually" bringing it up by name in conversation. She generally a nice person, but this typically annoys me.

Looks are perfectly anodyne (read average).

If you want a ranking - It looks better than an Aztek.

Took the words out of my mouth.

I don't much care for SUV/CUV. But if I'm picking one, the Macan is it. If Porsche would sell a smaller sized hatchback (as mentioned above) like this, I'd give it a serious look.

I've always liked the Macan. I think it's a great balance between outright SUV and hot hatch.

Someone posted the S5 Sportback, though...

      Beautiful car.

      Lol! I got that joke.

I like them a lot. When they first came out I believed them to be a tarted up Q5, but then one day I woke up and wanted one. It would be a perfect DD for me.

I’m not the hugest fan, but I’ve sort of thought of buying one for one reason: it can tow 4,500lbs but still performs respectively. With a light aluminum trailer, it can be a race car tow vehicle that could lap the track competently if your race car breaks down. With the air suspension, they can be lowered to more proper hatch height when you want it.

It looks like every other Porsche CUV/SUV thing, which is to say like a bulbous curvy landing craft. Very meh. The engines and driveline though, they're winners.

Hahaha! Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it. But I thought keeping up with the Jones's was just about purchasing what the neighbors have, not necessarily verbalizing the purchases at every opportunity. Particularly since no one she works with is her actual neighbor. Heck, I don't even live in the same state (and I like my vehicles much more, but that's besides the point)!

I would get on your nerves even worse. After watching the video I linked I realized I was pronouncing the name wrong. I would be all up in your face telling you all about my Porsche "Makin,"
