Interested to see how the young guns improve on 2019. Hope to see Norris and hopefully Russell take a couple of steps forward. And what a full season at the big team will do for Albon.

Also hope to see the resurgence of HAAS but in keeping Gross Jeans I just dont see how its going to be possible

Edit: I also really hope we keep the SkySports feed without commercials. I really dont want to have to stream races or watch them recorded online. I am much more likely to find out results going onto their website to pull up a recording rather than opening my DVR. Dont let me down ESPN!!

Done with the other thread! I see that Russell is getting a Mercedes drive in a few weeks at Abu Dhabi for Pirelli 18" tire testing. Will be interesting to see how he does in the W10.

I hope I can afford to go to Hungary or Monza this time.
2020 will be interesting to watch, as some teams will focus in the 2021 new rules while others can't even afford thinking about it.

tough to keep my interest when MB wraps it up so early.

looking forward to watching more of Lando Norris in 2020 though.

      I knew nothing about Zandvoot.

      I now know:

      1. It's on the beach
      2. It's an hour from Amsterdam.
      3. They are adding banking to turn 4 and 15. The banking on 15 (final right hander before the main straight) is fairly steep @ 18 degrees.
      4. The photo below being shared on social media is NOT the track. It's a mockup of turn 4 constructed just outside the south side of the circuit.

Apparently, since FOM is so vigilant about removing anything F1 from YouTube people are uploading F1 video to other places.

I'm reading this morning that there are full races on PornHub. In HD.

I've seen this in other sports subreddits where games are uploaded to pornhub to be rewatched and usually stay there for a door amount of time before being pulled.

I went to Zandervort last year for "supercar day." It was basically Euro cars and coffee + a track day and some drag races. It's actually really close to Amsterdam as the crow flies- takes an hour by train with a lot of stops. Could probably drive in half the time or less. A Dutch colleague informs me that tickets are being treated like superbowl tickets and were sold out months ago. I don't particularly like Verstappen, but he certainly has ignited F1 fever in the Netherlands, which is what made this race happen.

The track is just off the beach and goes up and down the dunes- pretty cool way to get topography in an otherwise pancake flat country. Based on watching it being run in person and a bunch of iracing laps, it's definitely more of a tight technical course- there's not much room for passing other than on the front straight. I think it would be a very fun track on an amateur track day, but it certainly will have challenges being a compelling F1 track. It will be interesting to see how the modifications change it. The facilities overall needed upgrades- the grandstands likely hadn't been touched since the 1970s and there clearly needs to be better crowd control features before F1, but I imagine those items are being addressed.

I need to decide if I want to renew F1TV Pro for next year or not, I bought it this year as someone, I forget who, but thanks again, posted about it on the other thread being 50% off. The problem I have with it, is that I don't think I was able to watch a single race without the feed crapping out at least once. Typically all I had to do was go out of the app and back in again, but more than once I ended up saying screw it and giving up. It's a good app and offers a lot, but is still in what the 2nd year now? terribly unreliable.

      5. Everyone will be in orange.
      6. More beer per person will be consumed that most here can imagine. (i've been to Spa, I like and drink a lot of beer, I never saw anything like "that" before though....)
      Amended.

I know, right? C'mon Mercedes, give someone else a chance.

I'd love another Brawn season. Like if Alfa found some weird engineering loophole nobody thought of and Kimi confusingly found himself a 2x WDC. That would be cool.

Will be still watching but won't be renewing F1TV Pro, just not worth it since I started to lose interest in following F1 closely. I will catch a few races and read about the others. Its been to many years waiting to see something exciting in F1, hope 2021 actually makes it better.

Especially if Lewis leaves for Ferrari, Toto leaves to run all of F1 - replacing Chase Carey, and Mercedes pulls out of F1 because they lost interest and they are putting all their eggs in the Formula E basket.

^^all 3 of those are legit possibilities.

Not even a chance. Lewis will prob never go to Ferrari, but I suppose one could argue there is a chance. I just don't see it happening. However Toto would not be hired on to run Liberty. There would be way too many conflict of interests. Team bosses must have some clause in their contracts to prevent such things.

I might go to either Montreal or Austin next year to see a race. It would be my first time. Is there any do's or don'ts from people that have gone?

      Any advice would be appreciated.
