My guess is that the majority of dealer's website won't allow for New stock with years <2018. So they use Cars.com to list them. Again, this is all hypothesis.

      Hypothetical?
What's next.. speculation on the internet?
*I bet many "old new cars" were already titled to get the rebates.
You only find out they are not actually brand new when you try and buy them.
Keeping it off the dealer website makes it easier to claim honest mistake.
      Plausible deniability.

Good luck spending less than three hours there for that amazing $50 "we will mail it to you" gift card.

The 2013 Fiat 500e with 311 miles for $8,400 actually makes a lot of sense. Used ones are not much less, and the battery has an 8 year warranty. There are no fluids aside from the brake fluid to worry about. Wonder if the dealer would let it go for $7,000. The AC compressor is a very expensive part (I think $1600?) so I'd make sure everything with the HVAC system is working properly.

Also, that car is a particularly rare color combination. The steam white/orange interior is uncommon, but the combination of that interior with metallic silver is very rare. I don't think I've seen one in that combo in person. Cool car.

Oh, so the 500's with the weird white bumpers are the Electric ones? I've seen one around town wondering what weird edition it was and now I know.

Carvana offered me like $8500 for my 2018. That had an MSRP of $35k new. It's been an awesome little car, but the depreciation is savage.

Yes. If you chose a white interior on a 500e, Fiat gave you no choice -- it also received a white front bumper insert and the rear roof spoiler was painted white as well. I'd swap out the front valence for the black OEM valence (shouldn't be hard).

I've debated buying a set of the orange headrests from one of these and swapping it into mine, to complement the orange exterior package:

One dealer in Germany selling 10 identical vans from final year of production. Selling for export. Cannot be registered in EU (until they qualify as classic cars with 30 years from date of manufacture).
I'm confused. Why would a dealer in the EU have a truck they can't register there?

This car shows up on their website as USED. It may have been titled just to take the tax credit? But that would probably start the warranty.

Pulled the book on this one, because I was curious. NADA is only $8437.50, but at $7000 it would be a good deal.

They really got aggressive when they got rid of the Chrysler 200s. When will they do that for the 300s?
