Good to have this type of forum for our New Beetle. I'm sure to be surfing around looking for help.
I have a 2009 Tan 'vert that has some rubbing marks on sides. It's original top, so what would you suggest to condition it and give it some extra life in service?
It's relatively clean(surprised), but will want to put some recommended products to help it.
Thanks
The new beetle tech bulletins mentioned VW's supplied convertible top treatment kits; they are sold through the parts dept. They are made under the 303 brand; you can save money, by purchasing them online or from your local auto parts store (amazon has a good price).

Top Cleaner (16oz Spray Bottle) Helps adds years of life to convertible tops while protecting against soiling and staining. Fabric Guard (16oz Spray Bottle) helps restores oil and water repellency and is fast cleaning to help remove stubborn stains.
I saw the 303 ad on Amazon, and glad to see it's legitimate.
