      Hello,
Just getting into the VW thing with a street '09 New Beetle 'vert. Just need a shop familiar with quirks and breaks of the car. Electronics and suspension seems to be issue, so where can I go "just in case". I see a place called DAP repair shop on north side.
      Thanks

If the DAP you're referring to is the one I'm thinking of in Cornelius, NC, they might know a thing or two about VW's. Wouldn't know how to test their knowledge on "quirks and issues" of a 11 year old car though??

There may be a Guy Robert's up in Newton, NC.
There may be a German Imports in Kanapolis, NC.

There's definitely some VW mechanics that have been around awhile, and know what typically goes wrong or breaks over time... The TDI owners tend to hang on to their cars "forever", and the mechanics they use tend to be guys who have been around VW's just as long. If you cross paths with the owner of an older VW, ask who they use.

I'll give DAP a shot first, since being closer.
