As a former G35 owner, for nearly a decade now, Nissan/Infiniti has been one of my least favorite manufacturers. Dull products that no longer offered a value proposition, with middling reliability and few if any redeeming qualities or features. This might be a return to form and hopefully a worthy replacement for a now 12 year old (yeesh) car.

No worry, we are in the age of computer controlled cars with tons of different drive modes... Comfort, Eco, Sport, Sport+, Race, Track, R, Corsa, N, M, RS.... There will be some for this car for sure.

I mean...they could just do the work of setting up the suspension and tiring the car properly. The 86 Twins, for all their faults, rode extremely well with the Sachs dampers and stock 17s. So does the ND Miata with the Bilstens.

The 86 twins are better balanced, which helps make suspension tuning easier. For example the heavier and further up front the engine is, the stiffer the front suspension has to be.

Generally, but not always. Case in point is the BMW X3 M's. Numerous reviews about how harsh the suspension is. Youtuber savagegeese made comments about it in a recent video.

One reason I'm driving a Macan rather than the M is the difference in ride quality.

But let's hope for the best!

Both BMW and Porsche were forced by actual buyers to make manual versions of enthusiast cars (E60 M5 & 991 GT3)

It could go either way. I just hope Nissan improves their in house RWD MT box and clutch.

Thanks for sharing. I think my entire opinion on the car has shifted now, not sure what I would've done without that highly detailed, and extremely obvious picture of the side skirt towards the rear wheel. Do you have any more game changing pictures like that to share?

The size and proportions look shockingly correct to me. No small feat given modern safety standards.

It looks like a heavy refresh even in proto form

I’m digging everything but that awkwardly square front grille. Hopefully that was just for reaction and they actually try to integrate into the design
