    Thread: Noise Damper/inlet air valve

      Hello guys. Can someone help me how do I find this part on ebay or somewhere else because Im strugling to find it, everywhere it says for corrado or vr6 golf, but my Golf have different specs its a 1.6 petrol engine AEK 101hp its almost the same as ABA 2.0 US model, but mine its underpowered. I need this part cause its hising sound, or any cheap suggestion pls

      Due to the high cost of that, when you can find it, most people will seal it up where it leaks to delete it. I go the delete route with my OBD1 cars.

      I sealed that once, but it seems leak air again. Yes my golf its obd1 1995 how can I delete that?

      all this is, is basically a pass though muffler so to say. get some hose barbs, put on either end of hoses, threaded fittings to connect with 2 90*s
      you can make one of these easily.

      My dad once did a hose thing, when this damper blew in two pieces and I kept it with a green plastic hose just to bypass, it is a hardened plastic. Inside of these "dampers" was like a soft sponge. In junkyards they tell 40 € for a piece like that so its nosense to buy a new??
