Has anyone ever attempted this front clip/fascia swap? Fenders, bumper, grill, Headlights/fogs, GLI “lip”. If needed core support, any other brackets and or custom brackets/supports needed? Possible trans, axle, control arm or steering, suspension relocating needed or custom motor/trans mounts? I am pondering an attempt at doing this. Just wondering if it’s been done, have you seen it? Have you done this yourself???

Now with my front end taken apart, I’m seeing that I will be able to put a GLI set of fenders and front grill, headlights on the beetle with only minor fabrication work to make it happen.
