What things to do with children during quarantine?
Never have more children than you have car windows

Walks, hikes, bike rides, outside play, video games, video chats. My toddler loves the wide popcicle sticks and an empty jar. You can also take 6 of them and weave them together. The slightest movement and they pop a part. Over and over and over again.

We have a 8 and 12 year old, but we’re still working (thankfully) from home. They are doing ok, but we can’t guide their e-learning like a parent who has been put out of work.
We have them on board for a flexible list of tasks: math, reading, writing, special project....a chore or two. Exercise too.

Print off some worksheets, assign a book report. My little guy, luckily, can get lost in Wikipedia....he spent 2 days reading about the history of hurricanes.

I feel for parents of younger kids. They need more attention, and lack the maturity to fall in line....it’s a big change.
