Not sure the max speed! I can only get 137km/h on my 2017 e-Golf.

You my friend, are at the maximum governed speed. Here in the states, the Egolf's are limited to ~84mph (135 km/h). I'm guessing this is because the coefficient of drag at this point is so high that it would drain the battery quickly if sustained. My wife has been harrassing me for a year and a half to try to use a VAGCOM to go in and remove the speed limiter, but I'm guessing it probably isn't possible that way.

Interesting. Maybe they upped it after '17. We've had both a '15 SEL Egolf, and now a '17 SE and they've both maxed out around ~85mph. I think I even read in the manual the max speed was around that.

Of course it wouldn't surprise me if European models are tuned differently. They have all the fun!

As far as I know and read, US models are limited to 85mph and European upto 95mph. I have a 2019 SE and maxes at 85.

I lied, and have removed my post. I would have sworn I pushed the car out on the interstate to see triple digits, but I took it out earlier this week and it held at 85-86MPH with the pedal floored. 2019 SE.
