So a month or so ago I replaced the timing chain tensioner on my 2012 CC, TSI. Since then when going slow through the neighborhood at 20mph it makes a slight revving sound and the rpms hang at about 2000 rpms. Only happens for a second or two. This does not occur with regular acceleration continuing on through third, fourth, and fifth gear, only just putzing through the neighborhood slowly and reaching 20 mph. I was thinking this may be a potential transmission issue. I change the DSG fluid at 42,000 and I am now at 76,000 miles. I can't imagine this would be timing chain tensioner related. Any ideas?
