Yes. Sometimes you have to take one for the team. Just doing my part.

Congrats! To be honest I was a bit mad at myself for not getting one during the $80/mo lease or whatever they were offering last year. Free charging at work and a 5 mile commute would have been perfect for that car.

If you do end up driving out and back to get it that would be an epic road trip (and probably a good time to do it given less traffic).

Congrats! Those are a hoot to drive. I miss mine and still really wish the dealer wanted to deal with me when I returned the lease. Oh well. Enjoy!!!

I’ll need to dial this back soon. I’d imagine the car sales world is going slow way down soon, knocking down my income.

My little go-cart was delivered today and I have to say, this is an impressive little car. I mean, it’s not as well screwed together as the Leaf is, but the quality of materials here is a step above what I was expecting. It handles well, is very snappy and it’s a really clean car.

But we need to discuss some of the ergonomics. In particular, the key and the shifter. Why does it need to be a key? Why can’t it be a fob and a push button? Also, the shifter just seems like a cop out. They could have done something cool, but instead put some crappy buttons in there.

But outside of that, it’s a great little ride. I don’t think I’ll have it very long though, as a friend called me and wanted to buy it from me at a $1000 profit. So I think I’ll pull the trigger on selling it and start looking for another one.
