      2000 VW Golf GL 2.0L manual turn knob control.

      No air blowing at all. Replaced blower resistor. Checked Fuse above the battery 30a is all in working order. Fuse in side panels all checked out.

      Here is the deal. Before the ac blower stopped working all together.

      For some reason it was blowing only at level 5. Then it would work if I pushed on the knob panel a little bit and it would turn on the air while adjusting the knob. Now nothing turns on even if I push around on the panel. So is the ac blower control module itself broken and need to be replaced? How do I test for that?

      There is a metal contact piece that is attached to the knob that works loose and stops making contact. See this for how to repair it:
