Thread: Retrofitting Rear A/C Vents into US car?

Do any of the other markets cars run the same center console but with the rear air vents? Chinese model Jetta? I see I have AC duct blowing near the floor, can this be switched to ductwork or whatever to fit into a center console with AC vent or can a AC vent be added to the existing console in the MK7 GLI, I'd like to add air vent and USB to the rear.

Theoretically, yes, it's possible. Practically? Probably not.
Here is a photo of the rear console of a 2020 VW Sagitar (Chinese Jetta) So, yes, it's possible. That being said, it is likely very $$$$ to put together.

In this thread, there is a link to a guy who did it on a Passat.

Sourcing a Jetta console that has the vents in NAR is going to be problematic. Passat dude got one from a junkyard.

If you are going at a speed that causes you to run off the road before ESC can provide any assistance, you may not experience the benefits of ESC

Can we add the LED foot well lights in back??
From a Passat owner who put the rear vents in.
