Thread: Long code traction button 2015 Beetle

Hey! I’ve installed a USP traction control button in my 15 Beetle R and bought an OBDeleven to long code the code per USP’s website and I can’t seem to get it to work. There is little to no information on OBDelevens forums and their support service sucks. USP was also zero help.
Using my iPhone, I just get a long code function not available message. And with an android device i get a code 31.
I’ve heard iOS is not capable of long coding, but according to OBDeeven it should work fine.
Has anyone had this issue long coding their car?

Fitted the same kit to a 2013 2.0 Tsi
      No coding required
      Worked first time no issues

But the switch does require a longer
(2 second) press than normal to toggle on and off
