I'm looking at RSe 10, 12, 52, and 122 wheels. I'd like to see any of them on your car.

Almost, heard they are high quality. I can tell from experience 1552 rims are very good also.

Not bad for "budget wheels" but they're definitely not as strong as stock wheels. I have one that belt bent and cracked and a 2nd bent one. Looking at replacing now. Not sure if I want to replace the one that's still leaking, 2 to replace the bent one, or 3 replace the one that the clear coat is cracking on (every spoke), or a complete set of a different make.

Here’s pics of my 122’s and my 10’s neuspeeds are super light and will clear any big brakes. These are both 18 x 8.5 and I’ve also ran 18 x 9 with no clearance issues et45 on all 3 sets

Compared to stock, sure, they're light. But compared to lightweight wheels, far stretch. Recently picked up light weight 20s and they were probably less than 2/3 the weight of my 18" rse12s

Lightweight for the money yes you can find a lighter wheel but at there price point They are a solid well rounded wheel. And most important thing for me is brake clearance which like I said they’ll clear everything

Yeah they do seem to be made to clear brakes pretty well. But I've got 2 that aren't that well rounded anymore. Lol

Look into Enkei wheels too. Similar prices and design. I used to bend rims twice a year in Chicago with the stock ones. Replaced them with Enkei and so far not one bent over 5 years. Same roads and driving.

I would love to go with Konigs next. Slightly lighter wheels for not much more. But Neuspeed is unbeatable in value IMO. I have only bent one mildly but it still seals and balanced.

I’m also looking at the Enkei RFP1 wheels. A little cheaper than the Neuspeeds.

Neuspeed wheels fit a vw perfectly.
Only mistake I made is NOT going with 18x8.5, so I could run 235s.. oh well.

God that looks amazing and has swayed me for my next change. Is there enough beading to protect the rim from curb damage?

Yes. Well to an extent. The sidewall is probably about flush then the bead area is still there.

I decided to go with Silver RSe16s as I can get a 17” x 18.5 wheel and they are being discontinued so there is a huge discount. Thanks for all the posts.
