Thread: Deactivate auto spoiler for rs type wing install?

    1. 07-29-2020 03:42 PM #1
I am considering adding the RS style rear wing to my 2010 TTS. I assume I will need to deactivate the auto rear spioiler.
Is there more to it? Any info is appreciated.

      Thanks.

Look here. Every MKII RS that's been sold on BAT in the last few years has had a fixed rear wing.

just looking at the parts you need the mounting hardware and some gaskets to seal everything up as well beyond the fixed spoiler and the deck lid.

i would assume that probably with vcds you can code it out somehow as the active spoilers on the RS was an option on them vs the fixed. I'm sure there isn't many out there with the active spoiler though which probably makes mine kinda rare probably.
