      anybody knows?
      spark plugs are not giving up errors right?
      but coil packs do? which ones?

      You will just get a misfire error, but it will give you the bank and number as per the firing order, so you can swap the coil pack with another and see if the misfire moves or not.

      And you might also get a fire, hence the recall.

      can I change spark plugs first and see how it goes?
      or coil packs and spark plugs go in tandem?

      where to find coil packs and spark plugs ID number for 4.2l 2008 phaeton ?

      how long do coil packs last?
      and spark plugs?

      Max 100,000km for plugs, the coils should last indefinitely.

      even 210k km?

      Here bad coil on my old OBD II reader , before a buy VCDS cable ....
